Currently there are over 70 licensed Ventrilo hosts attempting to provide Ventrilo hosting and Ventrilo servers to an ever growing market of voice communication users. Such a large number of providers makes it difficult for the consumer to decide which Ventrilo host is best suited to provide their voice communication needs. At TypeFrag, we strive to make that decision an easy one for the consumer by continuously providing excellent Ventrilo hosting service and support backed by state-of-the-art hardware and software.
TypeFrag was founded by gamers for gamers. We employee skilled programmers who constantly maintain and improve our industry-leading control panel; network administrators who continously monitor our Ventrilo server infrastructure; and several support specialists who are available to answer our customers inquiries and respond to support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
Prior to conceiving the idea of launching a Ventrilo host in December of 2003, the founders of TypeFrag had grown increasingly more dissatisfied and frustrated with the numerous Ventrilo servers they used for their own gaming communication needs. Setup was not instantaneous, there was no control panel to easily manage the Ventrilo hosting, and Ventrilo server performance was often an issue during peak hours. The founders recognized that many other Ventrilo users probably suffered from the same complaints, and decided to combine their knowledge and previous experience in networking and web-based services to launch TypeFrag, the soon-to-be premier Ventrilo hosting company.
TypeFrag was officially launched in March 2004, and experienced rapid growth as a result of offering several industry firsts: an easy to use control panel; instant setup; and excellent customer support. Regular maintenance, attention to continuous improvement, and above all, attention to our customers allowed TypeFrag to blossom in 2005.
By 2006 much of our competition had caught up with us in terms of providing control panels and instant setup. At this point, TypeFrag acknowledged its industry-leading position within the market, but more importantly, recognized the need to continue providing superior Ventrilo hosting service by regularly improving our website and Ventrilo server infrastructure. The website was redesigned and the order management and customer support systems improved and streamlined.
Our already phenomenal and often "replicated by the competition" control panel was also improved upon. Additional support specialists joined our team to prepare for the anticipated growth in 2007. Lastly, we invested substantial amounts of money in all new hardware for our Ventrilo server network. All of our Ventrilo hosting servers boast new Dual 3.2 GHz Xeon processors with redundant 1 Gbps uplinks to our very own 136 Gbps switch fabric collocated in Tier One datacenters throughout North America and Europe. Our network currently supports over 250,000 Ventrilo clients with plenty of capacity to grow into.
Currently TypeFrag is working to expand its service offerings beyond Ventrilo server hosting. We have recently released our third major website redesign in anticipation of adding TeamSpeak hosting in the coming months. We are working to finalize marketing campaigns, sponsorships, and promotions to roll-out during the second half of 2007.
As always, our focus will be on our customers. Everything TypeFrag does is to please and support our Ventrilo server customers.
