Download Ventrilo

Ventrilo is only available for download from Ventrilo.com. The software's end-user license agreement (EULA) restricts third-parties from hosting the Ventrilo client or Ventrilo server software executables for download. The hyperlinks below will direct you to the appropriate page on the Ventrilo website to download the Mac or Windows version of the client.

Ventrilo Client (Version 3.0)

Version 3.0 of the Ventrilo client software was officially released on November 14th, 2007 for both Windows and Mac. The update includes many new features including advanced hotkeys and bindings, a new user permissions system, and enhanced server administration options. The upgrade for both the server and client software is mandatory. All Ventrilo servers hosted on our network were updated to the latest version on December 1st, 2007.

Ventrilo Client (Version 2.3)

Version 2.3 of the Ventrilo client software was officially released on July 18th, 2005 for Windows. The prototype Mac version of the Ventrilo client was released several months later on November 3rd, 2005. The update included only a few new features such as special sound effects and some minor interface changes. However, there were many architectural changes made necessary for the release of the Mac version. The upgrade for both the server and client software is mandatory. All Ventrilo servers hosted on our network were updated to this version on August 1st, 2005.

Older versions of the software may be available for download from third-party websites. However, downloading the software from a third-party site violates the Ventrilo license agreement. Older versions of Ventrilo are unable to connect to Ventrilo servers hosted on our network. Please use common sense: third-party downloads are often riddled with malicious software such as viruses or spyware.

What is Ventrilo?

Ventrilo is client-server voice communication software application designed for use by online computer gamers. The client software is used to connect to an instance of the Ventrilo server software. You can use the Ventrilo client along with a microphone or headset to talk to other users connected to the same Ventrilo server.
