Logging in as the Server Administrator
Ignore this section if you are already logged in as an administrator.
Right-click anywhere in the white space inside the Ventrilo Client, go to Server Admin, and click Login – This will bring up the Enter Admin Password menu.
Enter your server's Admin Password and click OK.
You will now be logged in as an administrator on your server, which will be denoted by a capital “A” next to your server's name in the upper-left corner of the server.
If the password was entered incorrectly you will automatically be kicked from the server, and receive an error message informing you as such. In this situation simply reconnect to the server, repeat the process, and ensure that the password is entered without any typos.
Banning a User From Your Server
Right-click the username of the person who you would like to ban, go to Server Admin, and click Ban.
Enter the reason for the ban in the Ban User menu, and then click OK – The user will be instantly kicked from your Ventrilo Server, and their IP address will be added to your server's ban list.
You have successfully created a ban. Repeat this process to ban additional users.
Unbanning a User From Your Server
Right-click anywhere in the white space inside the Ventrilo Client, go to Server Admin, and click Ban list…
Select the ban you wish to remove from the list and click Delete – This will remove the ban from your Ventrilo Server's ban list.
You have successfully removed a ban from your server. Repeat this process to remove additional bans.
