Creating an Authorized Channel
Log in to your Ventrilo Server with Administrator access.
Right click on the Main Lobby or Channel you wish to create your new channel under.
Select Create from the Channel Admin menu.
Enter the name of your new channel in the Display Name box.
In the Protected Mode toggle list select User Authorization.
Click the OK button.
Giving User Authorization to Enter Channel
Now that we have created an Authorized Channel we now need to give the user accounts
authorization to enter this channel.
Right click the white area of the Ventrilo Client.
Select User Editor from the Server Admin menu.
Select the User from the Current Users list that you wish to give access to the restricted channel.
Click on the Chan Auth tab.
Select the Available channel you wish to give authorization for this user to enter from the right column.
Click the Add button in the middle. After clicking the Add button you will notice the channel will move to the left column.
When you are finished, click the Update button before moving onto the next user.
You have now setup a Ventrilo channel restricted by the Chan Auth list.
