Open Command Prompt
Open the Windows Start menu.
Select Run and type "cmd" into the box and then click the Run button.
If you do not see the Run option in your Start menu, then please locate the Commant Prompt utility in the Start menu's Accessories folder.
Run the Test
In the Command Prompt window, type "pathping <yourhostname.typefrag.com>" and then press the Enter key. For example: pathping carbon.typefrag.com
The test will take approximately five minutes to complete as indicated by the message "Computing statistics for 250 seconds..."
Submit the Results
Copy the results by accessing the Command Prompt menu. Click the icon in the upper-left side of the Command Prompt window to access the menu. Next, select the Edit sub menu, then click Select All. Then, go back to the Command Prompt menu, select the Edit submenu, and then click Copy.
Browse to http://www.typefrag.com/contact-us/, enter your contact information and the subject "Pathping Results". Then, right-click in the message box and click the Paste option to input the test results.
Finally, click the Contact button to submit the test results to our support staff. We typically respond to reports within 5 to 10 minutes.
